Frequently asked questions
The USDA determines the meal reimbursement rates for those organizations that participate in the CACFP. These rates are updated annually and vary based on reported family income.
Because we are a community-based organization, we are focused on the quality of services and its impact on the community rather than making a profit. We keep our pricing in line with
CACFP reimbursement rates, remaining conscientiousness of your organization’s budget. Our objective is to provide a service and products at minimum cost while maximizing quality.
FEEDING THEIR FUTURE staff offers knowledge of the nutrition standards and requirements that helps organizations apply to receive funding through CACFP sponsorship. Our staff provides technical assistance at no cost and works directly with your organization throughout the entire CACFP approval process. We recognize that obtaining sponsorship can be a challenging process. Our staff is experienced in this process and will provide the support necessary to ensure successful approval.
